What exactly is G.hn?

G.hn is a technical standard developed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and promoted by various organizations, including the industry association HomeGrid Forum.

The update to G.hn not only means a significant increase in speed in the Powerline backbone of up to 2,400 Mbps, but also boasts improved stability and a higher PLC range of up to 500 meters.
