All the benefits of WiFi 7
devolo's new Wi-Fi turbobooster uses frequencies of 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz with a channel width of up to 320 MHz. In combination with 4K-QAM, Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RU Puncturing, this ensures extra-high speeds. The product name itself indicates the maximum Wi-Fi speed – the devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 enables Wi-Fi transfer rates of up to 6500 Mbps. The use of innovative WiFi 7 technologies not only increases the maximum Wi-Fi speed, but also provides more capacity for simultaneously connected devices and minimises the response speed. To ensure seamless incorporation of all Wi-Fi clients, older Wi-Fi standards are also supported.
State-of-the-art mesh Wi-Fi
A mesh system refers to a wireless network that consists of multiple Wi-Fi access points. The individual Wi-Fi access points create a finely meshed wireless LAN. As a result, the devolo mesh Wi-Fi system, which is offered in 2- and 3-device packages, can provide an Internet signal that covers the entire area even in challenging environments. The devolo model supports state-of-the-art mesh functions such as Access Point Steering, Band Steering, bidirectional Multi-User MIMO and OFDMA. These properties make the new devolo mesh Wi-Fi system future-proof, particularly for fast fibre-optic connections.
Installation in no time
Installation of the mesh kits with 2 or 3 devices is really easy. They are delivered in a pre-configured state and offer a genuine plug-and-play experience. The individually available WiFi 7 fibre-optic Ethernet router is also ready to use in no time: Just use the Ethernet cable to connect the devolo router e.g. to the ONT (fibre-optic modem) or modem and then use the intuitive devolo Home Network app or web interface to ensure quick set-up.
Customised Wi-Fi: one system, many possibilities
The mesh router is offered in various packages: as an individual router, as mesh kits of 2 or 3 devices and as a separate mesh expansion kit. The 6500 can be used as a full-fledged fibre-optic Ethernet router, access point or mesh Wi-Fi kit. This way customers can choose the package that is the best fit for their needs. And if the intended use ever changes, this is not a problem: With the devolo Home Network app and the web application the operating mode can simply be reconfigured. Another benefit: The new WiFi 7 Mesh router is compatible with all other current devolo products and with all ONTs, modems and routers from third-party manufacturers.
