However, there is often a challenge: the "long-distance relationship" between the fiber optic endpoint in the basement and the router in the living area. The devolo Giga Bridge brings the speed of your fiber optic connection directly to your router. The existing coaxial or telephone line in the house is quickly transformed into a super-fast data highway. For powerful Wi-Fi and perfect wireless telephony throughout the house.

Application: ONT – Giga Bridge – Router

Fiber optic high speed to the router – the fiber optic endpoint (ONT) is located in the basement and the router is in the middle of the house.

1. The first Giga Bridge adapter is connected to the ONT via an Ethernet cable and receives the fiber optic signal.
2. He transmits the fiber optic signal over an existing telephone line.
3. The second Giga Bridge adapter receives the fiber optic signal and transmits it to the router via LAN cable.

Result: The gigabit speed of the fiber optic connection is available at the network ports of the router and in the WLAN, with optimal DECT reception ensured.

Installation

Our solutions are designed for easy connection to the existing telephone line. We have already taken care of the configuration of the adapters for you. This allows the Giga Bridge to be installed quickly either by yourself or by a technician.

The router can be connected anywhere there is a telephone connection available. A change of location is possible at any time without additional costs for new wiring.
